Dr. Papu Kumar Ngatey did his Master of Arts in Sociology with Specialization on Penology Prison Administration and Correctional Services from Dibrugarh University in 2014. He pursued Ph. D from Dibrugarh University. He worked as Assistant Professor in Centre for Judicial Studies, Dibrugarh University. He has been working as Assistant Professor in the Department of Sociology, S.P.P. College, Namti since 12th February, 2018
