The subject of STATISTICS was introduced in H.S. classes in 2004 after obtaining permission from Assam Higher Secondary Council, Guwahati. The department was accorded permission to introduced STATISTICS as a core subject (Arts & Sc) in the Degree classes by Dibrugarh University in 2008.

      The department mission is to facilitate comprehensive and integrated development of individuals for an effective functioning as social being and the department vision is to become  a centre of excellence for learning.

 Course/ Programme

•    Statistics as a subject - H.S. Level  for both   Arts  & Science.
•    Statistics as a subject -(General/Pass course),TDC (Semester) both in Arts &    Science.
